Spain is located on the Iberian Penninsula, bordering Portugal, Gibraltar, Andorra, and France. It also borders the Bay of Biscay, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Nothern Atlantic Ocean. The Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands are also located in Spain. The climate in Spain is temperate, with clear, hot summers, and cloudy, cold winters. Spain is mountainous, with some semi-deserts, and a long coast-line. The five large rivers in Spain are the Ebro, Duero, Guadalquivir, Guadiana, and the Tagus Rivers. Madrid is the capitol of Spain. Several other important cities are Barcelona, Valencia, Cadiz, Corboda, and Seville.

The capitol of Spain is Madrid, located in the center of Spain. Some major cities are Barcelona, Seville, and, of course, Madrid. In the legend, the solid line means the border of Spain. The dashed line means the borders of each province. The square with a red dot is showing Spain's capitol, Madrid, and the plain square shows the province capitol. This is a lot like the U.S.A. We have a counrty capitol, and each state alse has a capitol. This is also a Political Map.
